This book concludes the 'Capture Me' trilogy. In many ways, it wasn't what I expected. Instead, I found myself pleased at the surprisingly heartwarming turn that this story took. What started off as dark and vengeful, quickly morphed into sweet and tender. I didn't see it coming, but it worked for this story.

Picking up right where the second book left off, Yulia is on the run. Lucas is in the States with Julian and Nora, trying to organize a search effort from afar. When he returns to the jungle compound, finding Yulia is his first priority. He is determined to get Yulia back and make her pay for deceiving him.

Back in her home country, Yulia undergoes repeated interrogations by her agency. After fighting so hard to get back to her younger brother, she finds herself having to defend herself against allegations of being a double-agent. She knows that she doesn't want this life any longer, but she is unwilling to do anything that might jeopardize Misha's safety.

One thing leads to another and Yulia's entire world is turned upside down. Nothing is as she was told it was. The betrayal runs deep and there is no coming back for her. All of her efforts to protect her brother were for nothing.

When Lucas tracks Yulia down, he discovers Misha's true identity. Returning Yulia to the compound, little brother in-tow, Lucas is determined to air everything between the two. He realizes that his jealous rages at the thought of Yulia having another lover may have pushed her to run away from him.

Slowly, relationships begin to mend. Yulia has a lot of work to do to reconnect with her younger brother, who has been turned against her by the agency. Lucas and Yulia fall back into a pattern of domestic bliss, but Yulia must overcome her insecurities. She still fears that Lucas will grow tired of her and then she and her brother will be in danger.

Eventually, everything works out. I loved the sweet nature of their story. After the way the second book ended, I was sure that this one would be the darkest, as Lucas took his revenge in Yulia's flesh. It didn't work out that way. This book was tender and heartwarming.

Overall, I loved this final book in Lucas and Yulia's story. Everything didn't play out the way I had envisioned, but it was perfect. I loved it!

Before reading, if you haven't read the Twist Me series yet, I'd reccomend you start there. Lucas is the second in command to the powerful arms dealer, Julian, who stars in the Twist Me series. While this series could be read on it's own and still be mind blowing in it's own right, the plot lines surrounding Lucas and his blonde captive will make more sense having read Twist Me first.

Claim Me is the third book in the Capture Me series. After reading the Twist Me Trilogy, be sure to read the first two books in the Capture Me series before starting Claim Me.

This was another amazing page turner by Anna Zaires, and I was thrilled to see Julia's relationship with her brother bloom, and her love with Lucas grow. There were surprising plot twists throughout that kept me glued to the edge of my seat.

The bonus scene at the end gives us a look back into Nora and Julian's world, and neatly wraps up the ending for Lucas and Yulia. I love it when authors keep the characters alive in spin off series like this!!

Anna Zaries is hands down one of the most talented dark romance authors of our time. 5+ stars!

While CLAIM ME is just as fast-paced, action-packed and dramatically intense as the first two books, the growing desperation, heightened emotion, and true scope of the obsessive love between Lucas Kent and Yulia Tzakova in this third book truly scorched the soul! Not only was I enthralled by their spellbinding romantic bond but their combustible interludes, which are equal parts violent and tender, are among the hottest I have EVER read!

And OH MY GOD! Lucas!!! My love for this ruthless commando is off-the-charts! He is so predatory, primally sexy and powerfully masculine, and his tender devotion, fierce protectiveness, and unbridled lust towards his precious Yulia gave me goosebumps!

Once he recaptures the Ukrainian spy after her daring escape at the end of BIND ME, and saves her from certain death, he becomes even more obsessed with his stunningly beautiful prisoner than ever. There was palpable tension and peril throughout, and I was riveted by the nerve-wracking pivotal scenes where the drama and intrigue reach a FEVER PITCH, leading to a explosive crescendo where their nemesis gets his long awaited comeuppance and true love FINALLY prevails!

Ultimately, the brilliant Ms. Zaires literally did not leave one stone unturned in this THRILLINGLY ROMANTIC conclusion, and I wept tears of joy when everything comes beautifully full circle in the end! And the piece de resistance? That AMAZEBALLS BONUS EPILOGUE featuring fan faves Julian and Nora, which had me sighing in sweet euphoria!!!! What an extraordinary gift for loyal readers of the Twist Me trilogy to treasure forever.

Ahh...parting is such sweet sorrow! While I am sad to bid adieu to the pulse-pounding Capture Me saga, I am giddy with anticipation for Peter's long awaited story to commence in TORMENTOR MINE!
